Bypass circuit
After the run-up (full mains voltage
reached) the DM4 soft starter actuates
the bypass contactor. The motor is
then directly connected with the
mains.
Advantages:
•
The soft starter’s power loss is
reduced to the no-load power loss.
•
The limit values of radio interfer-
ence class “B” are maintained.
