DM4 soft starters

Connection examples

Connectionexamples

Bypass circuit

After the run-up (full mains voltage

reached) the DM4 soft starter actuates

the bypass contactor. The motor is

then directly connected with the

mains.

Advantages:

The soft starter’s power loss is

reduced to the no-load power loss.

The limit values of radio interfer-

ence class “B” are maintained.
