If the fuse fails, the motor is immediately disconnected (prevention
of two-phase run). After changing the fuse, the motor can be
restarted by pressing the "ON" button.
Unlike conventional motor circuit breakers, it is not possible to
switch the motor on if the fuse is faulty.
Note:
The internal resistance of the measuring paths of the fuse monitor
is in the MW range so that the VDE regulations with regard to
touch voltage are met in the event of faulty fuses (> 1000 /V).
To isolate the main switch, it must be switched off. The enclosed
label should be affixed to the switchgear as a reminder.
