RESETTING INSTRUCTIONS
If a device switches 'OFF' in the event
of a fault, take the following action:
MCB /RCBO
•Check each appliance connected to
that device and remove if faulty.
•Push the lever up, to switch on.
•Under fault detection theMCBwill trip to a
mid-"trip" position.
ResetMCB by switching "off", then "on".
ResetRCBO by switching to "on".
RCD
•Reset the lever to the off position, if necessary.
•Push the lever up, to switch on.
• If theRCD trips again, switch off
allMCB's& switch on theRCD.
•Switch eachMCB on, one at a time.
theRCDwill switch offwhen the
faulty circuit is reconnected.
If any device still switches off (or if the RCD cannot be switched
on with all MCB's switched off) then call a qualified electrician,
or for general guidance, MK Technical Services on 01268 563720.
This installation, or part of it, is
protected by a device which
automatically switches off the supply
if an earth fault develops.
Test quarterly by pressing the button
marked 'T' or 'Test'. The device
should switch off the supply and
should then be switched on to restore
the supply.
If the device does not switch off the
supply when the button is pressed,
seek expert advice.

Consumer Units and two or four
module enclosures. Offers time
delay control for complete circuits
of either tungsten or fluorescent
lighting with any number of standard
push switches. It can also be used
to control fans in bathrooms without
a window. Delay setting can be
over-ridden by setting to ‘Perm-on’
mode, or by fitting a remote overriding
switch. Switch has a switching
capacity of 16A Resistive loads (upf)
