Sensor detecting movement using
a highly sensitive microwave
detector, optimised for wall mounting
applications to give detection
over long distances (up to 30m,
diameter 6m), with integral sensitivity
adjustment (1…30m).
Adjustable time out period
(15s…30min). No external lenses.
To switch from more than one position
two or more units are wired in
parallel. Recommended mounting
height 1.2…1.5m. Microwave
radiation lower than 6% of the ANSI
IEEE C95.1-1991 recommendation.
On maximum sensitivity this unit is
extremely sensitive to movement
and may detect through thin walls or
partitions (e.g. glass). Flush mounted
into UK standard steel back box
(depth 25mm) or cavity wall box
(depth 32mm), or surface mounted
into plastic surface mount box (depth
25mm). Supply voltage 230...249V,
50Hz.
Switching capacity 10A resistive, 8A
resistive or inductive, 5A capacitive or

Unlike fixed head microwave
detectors the Switchlite MRE SLDM
ADJ offers a unique presence/
absence detection capability by
using an adjustable head.
This incorporates an innovative
locking mechanism to prevent
tampering. By changing the angle
of the head, different detection
patterns can be achieved to suit the
application. An integral sensitivity
adjustment allows the detector to
be fine tuned to its environment. The
detector is self contained and can
be flush or surface mounted using a
separate detector back box.

The Switchlite MRE SLDM MR is a
mid-range microwave presence/
absence detector for the automatic
control of lighting.This detector has a
low profile design which allows flush
mounting into a ceiling tile, or surface
mounting using a detector back
box. Its reduced head size makes it
unobtrusive to occupants.

The Switchlite MRE SLDD PC
photocell will turn lighting on when
the ambient light falls below a
preset level. The lighting will then be
turned off when the total light level
rises above a separate preset level.
An integral, adjustable time delay
prevents nuisance switching (e.g.
dark clouds). The Switchlite MRE
SLDD PC can be mounted flush or
surface on a ceiling.
