To comply with the latest fire regulations,
Marshall-Tufflex supply a range of Firefly
fire clips to secure cables within or
outside of mini trunking, maxi trunking
or conduit. The clips are designed to
prevent cables from falling in the event
of a fire, keeping escape routes free and
accessible.

New regulations
New regulations came into effect in July 2015, prohibiting the
use of non-metallic clips or plastic trunking as being the sole
means of support for cables. Firefly clips meet the requirements
of BS7671:2015 Wiring Regulations to secure all surface cables in
escape routes, preventing people from becoming entangled and
allowing escape.
Firefly clips feature rounded ends, preventing damage to cables
and injury to installers. The spring-loaded design makes it
straightforward to install and to add or remove cables after the
initial installation.
