Leads and Connectors A wide range of leads and
connectors provide a quick,
simple and effective solution for
interconnecting Thorn luminaires
Installation
Most Connect luminaires are
supplied with a plug for connection to
to electrical supply - 4 pole for
the standard and emergency fittings.
A range of leads and accessories
are available for connection. Leads
use low smoke, zero halogen flexible
cable. See Ordering Guides.
Starter leads are fitted with a socket
to connect to the first luminaire in a
‘daisy chain’ the other end ‘open’ for
connection to mains supply. Link leads,
fitted with a plug and socket, are used
in conjunction with a T connector
accessory to interconnect luminaires in
a ‘daisy chain’ configuration.
Connect luminaires can be
interconnected in either a ‘daisy
chain’ or ‘spider’ configuration via
link leads or connector boxes. In
most cases these luminaires come
‘ready to fit’ with lamps installed,
louvres assembled and an easy
clip plug for connection to the
electrical supply. Both standard
and emergency luminaires can be
interconnected.
