Market Requirements
The use of continuous mineral wool insulating materials makes it difficult to see where downlights have been installed and there is a risk
that householders might step or place items of storage on top of the luminaire.
The solution
The JCC loft brace offers mechanical protection preventing accidental damage to the luminaire as well as the added benefit of additional air
movement around the light fitting. Two sizes of brace are offered to span between 400mm and 600mm joist widths and are simply fitted
over areas in a loft where a light fitting is present. This simple and economical solution is designed to offer mechanical protection over the
luminaire allowing all building and lighting standards to be met.
