The TAC Vista 5 Server communicates with TAC Xenta
controllers or with any L ON WORKS® product using SNVTs
(Standard Network Variable Types).
Connection for remote monitoring and/or remote control
of TAC systems is by a PC LonTalk® adapter or a dedi-
cated/dial-up line. Geographically remote systems can be
connected via a modem. Automatic bi-directional dial-up
(Auto Dial) is used for requests, changing values and for
transferring alarms.
