Passive Latching: Designed for food freezers or garden
water feature pumps, ensuring that contacts will stay
closed during loss of power so that RCD does not need
re-setting when the circuit is restored
Active / non-latching: Designed for lawnmowers or power
tools, the RCD will trip on loss of power and requires
manual resetting when the circuit is to be re-energised.
