Enclosures are fitted with 20mm
knockouts to accept all standard
UK conduit fittings and include a
unique drill start feature for use with
25mm conduit fittings. The installer
simply uses a standard 25mm hole
saw in this drill start to ensure the
correct spacing between conduit
and wall.
Offered in two distinctive finish and design configurations
The weatherproof membrane is
Phthalate free, UV stabilised and
mould and algae resistant, to ensure
long outdoor life without splitting or
discolouring.
Switches can be operated through
membrane, thereby maintaining full
IP rating
IP55 switches supplied complete in
1, 2 or 3 gang configurations using
25mm modules

Range
For general weatherproof protection against dust and liquids, the
IP55 range of switches and sockets offers an effective solution for
both indoor and outdoor environments when the maximum IP66
rating is not required.
All modules are independently type
tested, with the enclosures giving a
degree of ingress protection of IP55
– protection against quantities of dust
that could interfere with satisfactory
operation or powerful jets of water from
all directions
