Back-up protection miniature circuit breakers/circuit breakers

If miniature circuit breakers are installed in fuseless distribution

boards, circuit breakers according to IEC/EN 60947-2 or

DIN VDE 0660-101 must be used as back-up protection.

The following tables show the short-circuit currents – in kA – up

to which back-up protection is guaranteed when using circuit

breakers.
