SigTEL 16-128 Line EVC System
• A larger desk-based alternative to our popular 4-64
line SigTEL system that can handle up to 128 lines
• Meets and exceeds the requirements of BS 5839-9
when correctly installed
• Ideal for multi-line disabled refuge, fire telephone and
stadium marshalling applications
• Comprises a wall-mounting CCU 16 line Master
Control Unit that can be connected to up to seven
SCU 16 line Slave Expansion Units
• Separate ECU-32 Desk Control Unit allows operators
to communicate with up to 32 outstations using true
duplex speech (64 & 128-way versions also available)
• Modular design allows multiple two-way line cards (LC2
or LC3) to be added to a CCU/SCU to suit the
application
• Optional pre-recorded message cards also available
(custom messages available at extra cost)
• Type B ‘Disabled Refuge’ outstations available in
stainless steel or green steel (flush, surface and
weatherproof options available)
• Type A ‘Fire Telephone’ outstations available in
locking or non-locking red steel cabinets
• Unique ‘auto-learn’ facility allows fast network set up
• All extensions can be named with user defined text of
up to 15 characters
• Fully monitored hardware and software
• System operates at 24 VDC
• In the event of mains failure, operation can be
maintained for 24 hours (standby) and 3 hours (in
use) using 2 x 12V 7 Ahr batteries

• Meets and exceeds the requirements of BS 5839-9

• Ideal for all disabled refuge, fire telephone and
stadium marshalling applications
• Compact 4 or 8 line wall-mounting master controllers
save valuable desk and floor space in crowded
control rooms
• 8 line expansion unit allows a 4 or 8 line master
controller to be expanded to 12 or 16 lines
• Network communication card allows up to four master
controllers to be interlinked allowing systems of up to
64 lines to be easily implemented
• Optional anti-tamper enclosures available for controllers
located in areas accessible to the public
• Wide range of ‘Disabled Refuge’ (Type B) outstations
available in green steel or stainless steel (flush, surface
or weatherproof versions available)
• ‘Fire Telephone’ (Type A) outstations available in locking
or non-locking red steel or stainless steel cabinets
• All outstations offer true duplex speech and can be
mixed and matched to suit the application
• Unique ‘auto-learn’ facility allows fast network set up

master controller or via an optional PC programming
