2013 sees Hamilton
celebrating 45 years
in business.
It is still a family owned
Company, under the
overall direction of its
founder Rod Hamilton
and his son
Ian Hamilton.
A pioneer in the market
of decorative plates for
switches, sockets and
lighting controls, the
Company continues to
lead the way setting
trends in both designs
and finishes.
Recent years have seen
a shift in fashion from
ornate brass to plain,
understated,
monochromatic styles.
At the same time,
Hamilton has developed
its own range of inserts,
broadening its scope
from box-fix to grid-fix,
Euro-Fix and concealed
fixing.
Aiming to be a single-
source for the specifier
and installer, the
Company now bases its
product development
on a “family” theme with
new items designed for
all versions of each
plate, whether box, grid,
