The solution
A series of meters were
installed to measure gas,
water and electricity usage.
Data was analysed to
identify energy consumption
from all sources, including
their solar PV panels.

The Energy Manager was
tasked to find out the cost of
manufacturing each product
unit, in carbon and kW.
The solution
An Escot system was
installed and connected via
USB to a PC, to identify the
kW usage per production
line. This enabled them to
break down the data, which
was delivered in CSV format,
to product unit level.
Food production factory in East Anglia
Data for each production
line was analysed to
determine the most
cost-effective products
to produce. This enabled
the customer to make
energy savings across
the whole plant.
The data collected
was fed into the
client’s software and
displayed within the
reception area of the
college. This helped
to educate students,
staff and visitors about
their energy usage.
The results
The results
