The solution
The customer installed a KLIK
metering solution on individual
circuits, which displayed the kW
usage, utilising Sinergy clip-on
transducers (CTs). They then took
manual readings from the meters.

Customer objective

allowing for an energy saving
strategy to be implemented.
The solution
An Escot system was installed
to measure the kW usage on
final sub-circuits, such as lighting,
power and HVAC. The system
used an output to a Modbus
RTU Adaptor to interface into the
building management system
(BMS) to identify where savings
could be made.
200+ room hotel in London
The customer was able
to analyse and properly
understand their energy
usage. They have since
gone on to implement
energy saving policies
that have helped them
reduce their energy
bills and lower their
carbon footprint.
